Teagan led Texas to its first National Title in program history. She was named WCWS Most Outstanding Player. She set a WCWS record for zero earned runs in 31 2/3 innings pitched. She was named NFCA Second Team All American, 1st Team All SEC, and was a top 25 finalist for USA Softball National Player of the Year. She led the team in wins, strikeouts, complete games, shutouts, and saves. She is the active program saves leader.

Teagan completed her freshman season leading the Texas softball team in wins and strikeouts. Teagan became the first freshman in Texas history to throw a complete game shutout in her World Series debut. In her first two games at the WCWS she threw back-to-back one hit shutouts versus Stanford. Texas finished National Runner up.
